the legend of the rice

last night, i went to eastwood for a dinner with my old buddies. I have this feeling that my friends who work there need me.. haha.. the dinner was supposed to be last tuesday but since it was raining cats and dogs (thanks stevie for introducing the term to me), it was moved last night.

i was supposed to be early for our dinner, considering my last session ended at 4 pm. but duty called, i was assigned to be the circle master for the kids' circle time/playtime. it ended around 5 pm. of course, being a girl, i have rituals pa before going out. i dont know why my feet wont leave the center and i was really forcing yen to join us. it's like im bound to be with someone on my way to eastwood. and there it happened. Shin texted me.

She wanted to meet us up at edsa central. i convinced her to just ride a tricycle to our place since yen and sheyn were still around too. so shin showed up and i convinced her (again) to come with me at eastwood to meet up margz and cors.

so we went to eastwood. shin and i met up with the two IBMers in front of the carousel at first, both of them soooooooo excited to see shin, and then decided to eat at Dencio's. we ordered 2 pork sisig (thanks margz for paying one), pancit as requested by Cors, chicken ala gambas, rice and iced teas. random topics were discussed while eating, though mostly involved margz and her stay at IBM. Shin finished first. suddenly, a crew (or was he a manager margz?) came to our table and asked shin if she wanted rice. hehehe. the nerve. i think it's insulting and funny at the same time. hahaha.

shin wowed us with her counseling skills. :) it's amazing to hear advices from her. cors was a little quiet that night, maybe her mind was somewhere in sta. mesa. hehe. margz shared her experiences and feelings about the "issue". it's a nice feeling that for once, i felt i was back in st. paul, in our classroom, just chatting with my old friends. it felt home.

the night ended with cors going to her meeting, and the remaining three of us going home. Margz and i stayed a little while because her dad will pick us up. we talked about mervin, stevie, and the rest of the guys involved with me. hehehe. i missed telling margz about my lovelife. i dont know why it feels different if she's the one im confiding to about it. maybe because she would always be affirming. hehe.

i wouldn't mind going an extra mile if it means 2-3 hours of incomparable laughters and talks. im looking forward for another plate of sisig. hopefully, with the whole BSP4 (2007).. :)

Hahaha! Yes I am very affirming. Why does it seem to me that your constructed this post like you were writing a psychological report? Hahaha.
